TouchView Mobile Instructions

A step by step guide on how to install the Webwatch application on your mobile phone.
  1. Search for the application called “TouchView Mobile” in the Google Play or ”Legacy Touchview” in the Apple App Store. Download the app.
  2. Once the app is downloaded and installed, open it.
    a. On Android devices there will be 3 dots in the upper right corner tap and select "Settings".
    b. On an iPhone, there will be a “Settings” button in blue text along the bottom of the app, select it. If this disappears tap on an image and it will reappear.
  3. In the settings menu, under "Servers", select "Edit Servers".
    a. On Android devices click on existing Demo server choose “Delete” and then go back to the menu screen.
    b. On iPhone devices click “Edit”, tap the red circle, and choose “Delete”. Select “Settings” to return to the menu screen.
  4. In the “Settings” menu, under "Servers", select "Add Server".
  5. Under "Server Type" select "CompleteView Proxy Server".
  6. In “Server Details”, select “Server Host Address”, enter "webwatch1.bekspyder.com".
  7. Verify “Host Port” is 4260. If not make sure of step 6 as it defaults the correct port.
  8. Enter the username and password that was set up for you during the installation as your "Server Username" and "Server Password".
  9. Unselect “Create Auto Layouts”.
  10. Select "Save". A message should appear that the server was successfully added.
  11. Go back to the “Settings” menu screen. Under "Layouts", select “Add Layout”.
  12. Type in a layout name and select appropriate size for number of camera streams you want. You may create more than one layout.
  13. Go back to the “Settings” menu screen. Under "Layouts", select “Edit Layouts”. Click one of the ones you did not create select ”Delete”. Repeat for all you didn’t create.
  14. If you created more than one layout Go back to the ”Settings” menu screen. Under "Layouts", select "Select Layouts". Choose the one you want to be the default.
  15. Go back to the ”Settings” menu screen. Under “Camera Settings” change “PTZ Speed” to “Fast”.
  16. Go back to the ”Settings” menu screen. Under “Camera Settings” change “Image Quality” to “High”.
  17. Go back to the ”Settings” menu screen. Under “Camera Settings” change “Frame Rate” to “Full Speed”.
  18. Exit Settings Menu.
  19. You should now be on the Layout you selected in step 15 and the name should appear at the top of the screen.
  20. Next we need to add cameras to the one or more layouts you created.
    a. On Android devices there will be 3 dots in the upper right corner tap and select "Add Camera".
    b. On an iPhone, there will be an “Add” button in blue text along the bottom of the app, select it. If this disappears tap on an image and it will reappear.
  21. A list of servers is shown, select the server listed (should only be one).
  22. A list of all online cameras is shown. Select all of the ones you want to add.
  23. Select “Done”.
  24. You are brought back to the layout. Tap on each spot where you want a camera to show. This will replace the image or blank space you select.
  25. You should see your cameras now.
  26. If you created more than one layout choose the drop down at top of the screen to select an additional one and repeat steps 21-25 for each.
